The fair in your pocket
A PWA puts your fair on visitors' home screens — without the App Store. The programme is to hand, favourites are easy to find again, and it all works even when the signal drops in the hall.
Put the fair on the home screen
The visitor opens your site in the browser and taps «Add to Home Screen». The icon lands among the other apps — no App Store, no code, nothing to wait for.
Summary
The fair on the home screen: the programme to hand, easy to find again — and it works even when the internet doesn't.

Try it yourself
Switch the internet off — and see what happens
Offline is easiest to believe once you've tried it yourself. It takes two minutes with a demo fair on your own phone. Here are the steps — and on the right, a drawn phone you can practise on.
-
Open a demo fair while you're online
The phone then gets the programme and the pages ready. Feel free to add it to your home screen.
-
Switch off Wi-Fi and mobile data
Or turn on flight mode. Open the fair again — the programme is still there.
-
Add a favourite, or put an item in My programme
The heart turns red straight away. The change is saved on the phone and waits for the connection.
-
Switch the internet back on
The phone notices the connection by itself. You don't have to do anything.
-
Watch it sync
The change is sent — and if you've paired another device under My devices, it turns up there too.

How it works
The website is the app
A PWA (progressive web app) is your UdstillerGuide site, installable. There's no separate app that has to be built, approved and kept alive.
One code base
The same content, the same address and the same updates as the website. Google still finds every page.
Installed from the browser
«Add to Home Screen» on iPhone, «Install app» on Android and in Chrome on a computer. No login, no store code.
Updates automatically
Correct the programme, and everyone has the new version the next time they open it — without an update in a store.
No app store
No approval, no waiting for review, no developer accounts. And no visitors left without the app because they didn't get round to downloading it.
My devices
From the phone to the laptop
Favourites added on the phone in the hall should be easy to find again at home. Under My devices, the visitor pairs their devices with a short code — no account and no password.
-

Tap «Add device». You get a short pairing code and a QR code.
-

Or scan the QR code with it. Then the two devices are paired.

What you save on one is there on the other — and changes sync both ways.
The packages
In all three packages
The PWA — home screen and offline — is standard in all three packages. Push notifications and My devices come with The Complete and The Intelligent, and what the visitor saves follows the furniture in the package.
