Programme import

The programme stays in your Excel, Word or Google Docs. We fetch it automatically — with images, speakers and links — and corrections are made in one place only.

Today: one item at a time

200 programme items are copied in one by one: title, text, time, image and the right speakers. At 10 minutes per item, the days disappear.

Summary

The programme lives in one place — with you. We make sure the website always shows the same, and you save 75 hours on a single fair.

How it works

Programme import in words

Most organisers keep the programme somewhere other than the website: in an Excel sheet, a Word document or a folder on Google Drive. Today every programme item is copied in by hand — text, image and the links to authors, presenters and speakers.

The extension connects to your original document — an Excel sheet, a Word document or a Google Docs or Drive folder. Together with you, we agree which columns or headings are the title, time, stage, description, image and speakers.

At every import we read the document again and compare it with what's already online. New items are created, changed items are updated and cancelled items are flagged — without anyone copying anything.

Speakers, authors and presenters are created once and linked to every item they appear in. A speaker with three sessions has one page with all three — and exhibitors don't have to create them themselves.

Corrections are made in the original only. That means one proofread, one source of truth and no risk of the website and the programme file saying different things the week before the fair.
